Mr. Cionca is a registered patent attorney, a trademark and IP LITIGATION attorney and founder of CIONCA IP Law P.C. ("CIONCA IP"), an intellectual property law practice started in 2009 and based in Irvine, Orange County, California. He has an extensive technical background having graduated from a five-year European engineering program, having practical engineering experience and having taught College Physics. He helps clients with patent application and prosecution matters in various technologies including, engineering, computer, mechanical, physics-related and medical device technologies.

Ms. Cope assists our firm with interfacing with clients and foreign associates and with the preparation of patent and trademark related forms, and the like. She also assists with administrative tasks, ensuring that our clients are well-attended to and that our office runs efficiently.

Mr. Gallucci is a registered patent agent, having a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from University at Buffalo. He uses his education and technical background in nanotechnologies and medical devices to assist in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications before the USPTO.

Mrs. Potra-Cionca is a Certified Physician Assistant with over 14 years of experience in spine surgery, using various medical technologies and devices, such as pedicle screws, spinal rods, fusion cages, as well as other medical techniques or treatment methods designed for helping patients with spinal ailments. She advises CIONCA IP Law P.C. when the firm represents medical device and medical technologies clients, particularly when the inventions are related to spine or other orthopaedics fields.

Ms. Yamauchi is a patent practitioner, as a registered patent agent with the USPTO. She has passed the Patent Bar exam administered by the USPTO and is thus permitted to write, file and prosecute patent applications before the USPTO. She understands a variety of inventions and technologies, from those related to bioengineering, to medical devices and beyond. She has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Utah - Salt Lake City. Before joining CIONCA IP, she held various positions that enriched her technical and IP experience, including as a technologist, an intellectual property analyst for a major university and as a patent analyst. For example, as a technologist, she performed fluid mechanical R&D testing of cardiovascular device prototypes. She uses her education and technical background to assist our team of patent practitioners in the preparation, filing and the prosecution of patent applications before the USPTO for our clients.

Mr. Greisen is a patent practitioner, as a registered patent agent with the USPTO. He has passed the Patent Bar exam administered by the USPTO and is thus permitted to write, file and prosecute patent applications before the USPTO. He understands a variety of inventions and technologies, from those related to mechanical engineering, to software and beyond. He has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Portland. Before joining CIONCA IP, he worked as an engineer for several years, including for a semiconductors company. He is a self-taught data scientist with experience in project management, manufacturing, process improvement, equipment engineering, technical documentation drafting, as well as small-scale software development and data analysis across several engineering industries (medical device reprocessing, aerospace, semiconductor). He uses his education and technical background to assist our team of patent practitioners in the preparation, filing and the prosecution of patent applications before the USPTO for our clients.
