She understands a variety of inventions and technologies, from those related to bioengineering, to medical devices and beyond. She has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Utah - Salt Lake City. Before joining CIONCA IP, she held various positions that enriched her technical and IP experience, including as a technologist, an intellectual property analyst for a major university and as a patent analyst. For example, as a technologist, she performed fluid mechanical R&D testing of cardiovascular device prototypes. She uses her education and technical background to assist our team of patent practitioners in the preparation, filing and the prosecution of patent applications before the USPTO for our clients.

He has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Portland. Before joining CIONCA IP, he worked as an engineer for several years, including for a semiconductors company. He is a self-taught data scientist with experience in project management, manufacturing, process improvement, equipment engineering, technical documentation drafting, as well as small-scale software development and data analysis across several engineering industries (medical device reprocessing, aerospace, semiconductor). He uses his education and technical background to assist our team of patent practitioners in the preparation, filing and the prosecution of patent applications before the USPTO for our clients.
