Position: PATENT AGENT; part-time or full time.

Location: Irvine, California; remote working may be possible

Description: Assist patent attorney with patent prosecution matters

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in electrical engineering or computer science is preferred; Bachelor's or higher degree in other technical or science fields will be considered as well (e.g., mechanical engineering, physics, etc.);
  • Experience working as a patent agent is preferred;
  • USPTO Patent Agent registration is required;
  • Excellent English proficiency, spoken and written;
  • Professional attitude;
  • Excellent work ethic;

Position: TECHNICAL WRITER / PATENT ENGINEER; part-time or full time.

Location: Irvine, California; remote working may be possible

Description: Assist our firm with patent application drafts

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of engineering or science college level coursework is required
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science is preferred; Bachelor's degree in other technical or science fields will be considered as well (e.g., mechanical engineering, physics, etc.);
  • Interest in later becoming a registered patent agent by taking the USPTO Patent Bar Exam is highly preferred;
  • Excellent English proficiency, spoken and written;
  • Professional attitude;
  • Excellent work ethic;

Position: LEGAL SECRETARY/PARALEGAL/LEGAL ASSISTANT; part-time/full time.

Location: Irvine, California

Description: Assist IP attorney with patent, trademark and copyright application preparations and filings, communication with clients, other miscellaneous office work.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any major, or, alternatively, minimum two years of technical college studies is required;
  • IP Law practice experience is a plus; however, we will train the right person;
  • excellent proficiency at using a computer and office software such as Word and Outlook and conducting online searches;
  • excellent English proficiency, spoken and written;
